Asychronous Optical Sampling Femtosecond Lasers

ROCK 1550 AS is a high-performance ASOPS laser system, comprised of two repetition-rate locked Er fiber lasers, where the repetition-rate offset can be flexibly configured within a large range, and with high bandwidth. It is specifically designed for asynchronous optical sampling, THz time-domain spectroscopy, dual-comb based metrology applications. The two laser heads have all the excellent optical specifications of Rainbow 1550 OEM, while at the same time, utilizing an integrated feedback module to stabilize the repetition rates to within a few mHz. Typical repetition-rate range is within 80-100 MHz. The system supports two-color operation, where the two laser heads are configured to output at 1560 nm and 780 nm, respectively. The ROCK 1550 AS system can also be customized at 1 um and 2 um center wavelengths, upon customer request.

By default, the master laser is locked to an external Rb atomic clock, and the slave laser takes in a reference frequency synthesized from the master laser. The robust and ultra-stable optomechanical design ensures unrivaled coherence and long-term stability of the repetition offset.

With its verified stability and reliability, ROCK 1550 AS is ideally suited for advanced pump-probe spectroscopy, ultrafast photoacoustics, dual-comb spectroscopy and asynchronous optical sampling.
