1550 nm Repetition-rate locked Ultrafast Fiber Laser


Rainbow 1550 LOCK is our repetition-rate locked version of the standard Rainbow 1550 Pro Ultrafast lasers. It has all the excellent optical characteristics, while at the same time, utilizing an integrated feedback module to stabilize the repetition rates to within a few mHz. The laser is designed to take in a reference frequency from a high-performance signal source between 80-100MHz. It is well suited for applications such as optical frequency comb and asynchronous optical system design.
As the base part is Rainbow 1550 Pro, the LOCK system also shares NPI Lasers' proprietary optical switch packaging technology, and integrates NPI Lasers' unique "Smart-Lock" processes to ensure long-term stability and reliability. The laser is an easy-to-use turn-key system, and can also be computer controlled.
The LOCK system is also available at 1um and 2um range, upon customer request.
